Zhuji Zhengtian Reservoir Management Office

    Zhengtian Reservoir is a middle-sized water construction that is built mainly for the irrigation purpose, in combination with the uses of flood control, power generation, and fish culturing. The construction was initiated in 1958 and completed in October 1960, with a total water capacity of 11.19 million cubic meters. It benefits 22,850 mu of farmland.

 

    The company has struggled through years of development under the leadership of Liang Huanmu, head of Zhengtian Group, in the spirit of self-reliance, hard work, unity and pragmatism, in an effort to build the reservoir and irrigation area into a water conservancy system that integrates water storage, diversion, and carry functions in times of drought , flood, or waterlogging. Since its establishment, the reservoir has received awards from the water resources authorities at national and provincial levels for many times. Moreover, the reservoir was ranked among the first group of moral education bases in 1994 by the Shaoxing government.

 

    The company started to invest RMB 33 million in total to reinforce the reservoir since 2008. Now, Zhengtiao Reservoir becomes a modern water conservancy system standing in Fengqiao Town.
