50 Years of Development of Zhengtian Group
（1960.10-2010.10） On Aug. 15th, 1969, “57” Repair Factory was founded. It was renamed Zhengtian Water Conservancy Machinery Factory in 1976 and Zhejiang Zhengtian Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. in October 2006.

On Dec. 28th, 1976, the company prepared to establish a factory manufacturing chlorinated lime. On April 1st, 1985, the factory changed into Zhuji Steel Casting Factory. In February 1988, the factory moved to the new place and was renamed Zhuji Special Steel Factory. In October 2006, it was renamed Zhengtian Special Steel Casting Co., Ltd.
In April 1979, the company prepared to build a cement factory. On Dec.27th of the same year, the cement factory was put into production. On Feb. 15th, 1984, the annual production capacity increased to 40,000 tons from 20,000 tons. In December 2005, according to the [2005] No.41 Document of Opinion on Speeding up Structural Adjustment of Cement Industry, the company dismantled shaft kiln of cement and stop doing business.
In September 1981, the company prepared to build a factory manufacturing glucose, which was put into production in March 1982. In October 1992, the factory was renamed Zhuji Zhengtian Foodstuff Factory. In May 1999, it changed into Zhuji Zhengtian Sizing Textile Co., Ltd.
In February 1984, Water Conservancy Industry & Commerce Co., Ltd. was established.
On Feb. 19th, 1985, Zhengtian Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. was founded.
In March 1986, the company prepared to build Zhengtian Tin Can Factory. In September 1992, Lianying Foodstuff Factory was founded and was put into production in March 1993. In September 2002, it was renamed Zhengtian Foodstuff Factory.
On Sep. 5th, 1986, Fengqiao Vocational Technical School opened, which was co-founded by Zhuji Education Bureau, Zhuji Hydroelectric Board, Fengqiao District Office and Zhengtian Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd.
On April 17th, 1987, the company prepared to build a factory manufacturing aluminum products. In February 1995, aluminum product factory was changed into a factory manufacturing water conservancy machinery.
On Sep. 9th, 1992, the company jointly established Zhejiang Yadong Pharmaceutical Factory.
On Jan.16th, 1993, according to Zhuji Structural Reform [1993] Document of Agreement on the Joint Stock Cooperative System of Zhuji Zhengtian Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd., Zhuji Zhengtian Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. executed stock cooperative system.
On Jan.18th, 1993, Zhengtian Group Co., Ltd. was founded. In March 2000, it was renamed Zhejiang Zhengtian Group Co., Ltd.
On March 15th, 1993, Zhengtian Trade Co., Ltd. was founded. In March 1996, Zhengtian Trade Co., Ltd. and Water Conservancy Industry & Commerce Co., Ltd. were revoked, because operations of two enterprises were undertaken by themselves respectively.
On May 13th, 1993, the group founded Zhengtian Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.
On April 26th, 1994, the group merged Fengyi Printing & Dyeing Factory, moved it to the new place and expanded Zhengtian Printing & Dyeing Factory, which was put into production on March 18, 1995 and renamed Zhejiang Zhengtian Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. in September 2001.
In October 1995, Zhengtian Self-supply Water Plant was broken. On Aug.8th, 2000, it expanded into Zhengtian Tap Water Co., Ltd. In April 2006, it was purchased by Zhuji Municipal People’s Government.
On June 18th, 1996, Zhengtian Building was completed.
In 1997 and 1998, Chen Bolong was awarded “National Excellent Manager in Water Conservancy Economy” for two successive years.
In December 1999, the group prepared to build Fengqiao Hotel, which served its first customer on May 28th, 2000.
In May 2000, Xuan Hankang was awarded National Model Worker in Textile Industry.
In August 2001, He Zhanhao, the national famous composer and composer of violin concerto The Butterfly Lovers, composed music for Song for Zhengtian.
On Oct.17th, 2001, the group signed contract on hi-tech gellan gum with Shanghai Zhongwei Biochemistry Co., Ltd. and founded Zhejiang Tianwei Biochemistry Co., Ltd.
On July 26th, 2003, the group defined assets of its subsidiaries, transformed staff’s identities and set up new labor relation, which has been implemented since Jan.1, 2004.
On Jan.18th, 2006, Economic Reform Office of Zhuji Municipal People’s Government dispatched Document of Further Deepening and Perfecting Reform Implementation Proposal of Zhuji Zhengtian Group Co., Ltd. and formally confirmed reform proposal of Zhengtian Group.
In May 2009, trademark of “Zhengtian” was appraised as Zhejiang Famous Trademark by Industry and Commerce Administration of Zhejiang Province.
